Complete these four interactive classes at your own pace – Understanding Pregnancy, Understanding Birth, Understanding Breastfeeding and Understanding Your Newborn.

Young Parents Connection - YPC (Sault Ste. Marie) - Offered Thursday Evenings


Young Parents Connection is a unique program geared to all expectant parents and parents who are under age 25. If you receive assistance from Ontario Works (LEAP Program) then you are automatically enrolled in the program.

Participants meet at Algoma Public Health, located at 294 Willow Ave, have supper and then break out into education groups (depending on the age of their child) - prenatal class, You & Your Baby class, toddle parenting class or Community Kitchen (for Ontario Works clients only). Special presentations are included periodically. Free child care and transportation are provided. You can attend at any time in your pregnancy.
