Algoma Youth Engagement Network (AYEN)
Congratulations to AYEN for receiving the Sheila Lupson Healthy Communities Recognition Award.
Algoma Youth Engagement Network (AYEN)
The Algoma Youth Engagement Network (AYEN) seeks to foster a collaborative approach to youth engagement and development in Algoma.
The AYEN hosts monthly meetings, which are great for professionals to:
- Collaborate with other professionals in our community focused on youth engagement.
- Learn about youth development opportunities that are available.
- Access resources and professional development opportunities.
- Share best practices.
- Problem-solve through common youth engagement challenges.
- Foster community partnerships
Organizations come to the AYEN with different mandates, strengths, challenges and opportunities. Some members are new to youth engagement while others are highly experienced. This diversity is precisely what strengthens the memberships and creates opportunities for organizations to align together to maximize positive outcomes.
Come share your experiences and learn more about the great youth engagement opportunities in our community.
If you are interested in joining AYEN, contact the Youth Engagement Coordinator at 705-942-4646 ext 3043.
