The Algoma District Food Access Maps help residents of Algoma identify locations in their area where they can access food, such as:

• Food Banks and Meal Programs
• Farmers’ Markets and Farm Gates
• Community Gardens
• Community Kitchens
• Grocery Stores and Butcher Shops

These maps can also be used to identify key stakeholders engaged in improving the local food system and inform policies or strategies to ensure residents of Algoma have sufficient access to safe and nutritious food to support a healthy lifestyle.

To update information on the Food Access Maps in Algoma (for example addresses, phone numbers, etc.) please e-mail the information to healthycommunities@algomapublichealth.com. Updates will be done annually in the fall of each to year to ensure accuracy of the maps.
