OMA President and APH Medical Officer Of Health To Discuss Vaccinations And Vaccine Hesitancy

  OMA President Dr. Sohail Gandhi and Algoma Public Health’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Marlene Spruyt, will speak about vaccination in the Algoma district, vaccine hesitancy and the OMA’s public education campaign.

The World Health Organization calls vaccine hesitancy one of the top ten global health threats. Dr. Gandhi and Dr. Spruyt will discuss the importance of vaccinations, current vaccination trends in the region and the OMA’s new campaign to target the spread of anti-vaccine myths online.
