When travelling outside of Canada you may be at risk for an illness that you can prevent with vaccination.

Talk with your health care provider and make an appointment with a travel clinic at least six weeks or more before your date of departure. Depending on your destination, you may need a few travel vaccines. If you travel a lot or your destination is low-risk for exposure to diseases you may not need any travel vaccines.

For more information on travel vaccines and travel advisories visit Trip Prep or the Government of Canada Travel Advice and Advisories. You can also talk with a public health nurse in the Immunization Program at 705-759-5409.
