We are reporting nineteen (19) new cases of COVID-19 (#1,553 - #1,571):
- 16 – Sault Ste. Marie & Area
- 3 – Central and East Algoma
The newly reported cases acquired their infection as follows:
- 8 - close contact of a confirmed case
- 3 - unknown source of infection
- 2 – international travel
- 6 - under investigation
There are currently 263 active cases.

If you were at the following stores/locations during the times listed above, you are asked to follow public health guidance.
- La Vie en Rose, Bootlegger, As Seen on TV, True Family Health, Ricardo’s Pizza, Food Court
Actions to take:
- Self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 for 10 days from potential exposure.
- Self-isolate immediately if symptoms develop.
- Seek testing if symptoms occur.
