We are reporting thirty-four (34) new cases of COVID-19 (1,440 - 1,473):
- 31 – Sault Ste. Marie & Area
- 3 – Central and East Algoma
The newly reported cases acquired their infection as follows:
- 15 - close contact of a confirmed case
- 2 - unknown source of infection
- 17 - under investigation
There are currently 268 active cases.

Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Friday, December 10, 2021, from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm

Location: Galaxy Cinemas (Station Mall), 293 Bay St. Sault Ste. Marie, ON
Movie: Clifford the Big Red Dog
Date and time: December 7, 2021, from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Actions to take:
Any individual who was present on the date and times listed in the potential low-risk exposures is asked to:
- Self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 for 10 days from potential exposure.
- Self-isolate immediately if symptoms develop.
- Seek testing if symptoms occur.
