We are reporting thirty-four (34) new cases of COVID-19 (#1,496 – #1,529):

• 29 – Sault Ste. Marie & Area
• 5 – Central and East Algoma

 

The newly reported cases acquired their infection as follows:

• 14 - close contact of a confirmed case
• 2 - unknown source of infection
• 1 - international travel
• 17 - under investigation

There are currently 271 active cases.
