We are reporting thirty-three (33) new cases of COVID-19 (#1,407 – 1,439)
- 32 – Sault Ste. Marie & Area
- 1 – Central and East Algoma
The newly reported cases acquired their infection as follows:
- 11 - close contact of a confirmed case
- 5 - unknown source of infection
- 3 - international travel
- 14 - under investigation
There are currently 263 active cases.
Low-risk exposure

Actions to take:
Any individual who was present on the date and times listed in the potential low-risk exposure is asked to:
- Self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 for 10 days from potential exposure.
- Self-isolate immediately if symptoms develop.
- Seek testing if symptoms occur.
