Algoma Public Health is reporting twenty-two (22) new cases of COVID-19 (#1,530 - #1,552)

We are reporting twenty-two (22) new cases of COVID-19 (#1,530 - #1,552):

• 20 – Sault Ste. Marie & Area
• 2 – Central and East Algoma

The newly reported cases acquired their infection as follows:

• 6 - close contact of a confirmed case
• 4 - unknown source of infection
• 12 - under investigation

There are currently 260 active cases.
