Environmental Health

 

There are many things in the environment that we have little or no control of.  It is always important to know the risk of certain activities or settings that we either voluntarily or unwillingly control.  By understanding the risks within the environment we can in turn influence the impact on human health.

 

Public Health has many teams that work to deliver public health programs and services. The Environmental Health Division works to provide, protect ad promote healthy environments. Some of the programs and services delivered under the Environmental Health Division include:

• Extreme Weather
• Food Safety
• Rabies
• Recreational Water
• West Nile Virus
